Our Machu Picchu adventure begins in Cusco, as we pick you up from your hotel in the morning (the exact time will depend on the train schedule). Travel or health insurance is NOT included on the trip and we highly recommend a travel insurance policy for any unexpected issues. This is not obligatory, however. A full travel insurance policy for cancellations and delays as well as medical cover should be purchased.
Speak with your doctor or travel clinic to ensure that you are up-to-date with the recommended vaccinations when travelling to Peru. A complete vaccination card or negative PCR test is required to enter Peru.
We suggest that you speak with your doctor to see what medications you will need to bring to the Peru. Pharmacies and drugstores are common in all cities, however, it is not certain that you will be able to find a prescribed medication that you can find in your country.

Tips are not included on tour. You should plan to tip 10% in restaurants and for your guided services, however, tipping is never compulsory and depends on your contentment with the tour.

For city tours, there are public bathrooms available, in remote destinations or on treks, bathroom facilities are not as frequent.
In the mountains and on remote treksthere is little or no Internet connection. Hotels and public places usually have WIFI available.
In cities and touristic areas you should have good telephone reception. In remote areas, there may be no or interrupted cell phone reception.
We suggest that you bring a refillable water bottle or purchase bottled water. Tap water is not drinkable. Most hotels will have purified water to refill your water bottle.
