The Javier Cabrera Scientific Museum is considered the only glyptotheque on Earth! This wonderful museum in Ica, Peru, is where you can appreciate fascinating engraved stones. It is thought they were created by a civilization with knowledge from another dimension and technology more advanced than our own! These stones depict the Earth's hemispheres from millions of years ago, heart transplants knowledge implants, and many more discoveries!
These stones are housed in a small private museum created by Peruvian physician Dr. Javier Cabrera in 1966. More than 10,000 stones of various sizes are carved with intriguing images of a lost civilization. In an astonishing variety of images covering a vast array of subjects, the stones show dinosaurs frolicking, assorted extinct animals, maps, as well as depictions of advanced surgical methods! Cabrera Museum Visit
Come with us to the endlessly intruding Cabrera Museum! We will collect you from our hotel at 10 am to visit this unusual museum in Ica.
This small private museum was created by Peruvian physician Dr. Javier Cabrera in 1966, and houses more than 10,000 stones of various sizes, all of which are carved with intriguing images of a lost civilization. Some stones are engraved with relatively simple images, while others have complex designs that look similar to those of the Paracas, Nazca and Tiwanaku cultures. Look closely and you’ll see images of flowers, fish, and other animals, as well images that appear to depict scenes that don’t fit with the historical record, such as pictures of dinosaurs, advanced medical works, and maps.
Some people see these stones as actual evidence of a lost advanced civilization. But in the 1970s, a local farmer admitted to carving the stones himself in order to pass them off as legitimate ancient artifacts. Most people, including the scientific community, therefore regard it all as an obvious but elaborate hoax. Still, the stones are quite intriguing, especially considering the sheer number of them. How someone managed to craft so many of these stones still remains a mystery.
