The World’s 50 Best Restaurants named a brand new winner in Valencia, Spain this week. The annual awards ceremony, which celebrates all of the world's finest eateries, meant a day of initial nervousness translated into immense joy for all Peruvians and  Latin Americans. It has been 10 years since the Central restaurant entered The World's 50 Best Restaurants list at number 50, and on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, it was officially crowned as the number one in the world.
