Since May 2021

 

What do you love about working in the Travel industry?

I love that it is constantly changing and there are always new experiences and routes to discover. Also, it is a great motor for local economies to thrive.

 

 

What is your favourite place to visit in Peru?

My favorite place to visit is Cusco for sure. It’s a place that I need to visit from time to time to recharge positive energies and relax. And to eat of course!

 

Where would you like to travel given the opportunity?

I would love to visit my sister and nephews in Norway, it’s been a while since I’ve seen them.

 

 

What is your favourite Peruvian Dish / Drink?

My favourite Peruvian dish is “jalea marina”, and my favourite drink is chicha morada.

 

What is your most memorable moment working for Valencia Travel?

After the most difficult months of the pandemic, I could finally travel to Cusco for a postponed trip I had back in 2020. I got a chance to visit the team at the office, and although I’ve never met them in person, they prepared a cozy welcome party just for me. I felt like I was at home, they treated me like family.

 

 

Where do you see yourself in one years’ time?

I see myself developing more opportunities to bring more of our guests to Peru, to experience the greatest trip of their lives.

 

What is the best travel tip you can give to visitors to Peru?

To have a chance to visit a local community in the touristic places they visit. The warmth of the Peruvian people is something they will take forever in their hearts.
