   Peru Coronavirus Update....!!!

With all the media attention, it is hard to ignore the growing presence of the COVID-19 virus. We at Valencia Travel Cusco, value the health and safety of all our guests, crews and people involved with our company. While there has been 852 confirmed case of COVID-19 in Peru, it has not reached the Cusco city yet, and extra hygiene measures have been put in place to help prevent the spread. We are keeping in constant contact with the Prom Peru travel board to make sure that we have all the necessary information and tools to ensure a safe and relaxing holiday. Of course, we do understand your travel concerns, and we want your holiday with us to be as stress-free as possible, so if you do have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate

Preventing along the Tour.

We have taken all necessary measures in order to avoid any contagion to our passengers and we have implemented the following hygiene procedures from the moment that the coronavirus epidemic was reported worldwide:


All passengers traveling to Peru are obligated to provide brief health information to our staff at the airport (Lima or Cusco) as we will ask them pertinent questions in case any of the passengers have been lately in the last 14 days to Areas such as China, Italy, etc. or have flu symptoms. If we do have a special case reported, we will immediately contact  health authorities and passengers will not be allowed to continue on the tour as a prevention for all our guests.


Our staff members are doing regular cleaning procedures and emphasizing in aseptic all our transportations as well as the equipment more frequently than normal.

We have equipped our staff with antiseptic gel and alcohol in order to maintain adequate asepsis on board for daily use of our passengers.


We are supplying in the next days to our bus with facemasks in case passengers require this protection.

All measures that protect our passengers will be taken in Peru and we will be assisting all guests and passengers in the best way and we will keep you updated with any official news.

We are happy to offer alternative ideas to your future travel plans, should you feel the need to change things up. Please know that this situation is temporary, so if you are still planning a trip at the end of the year or in 2021 there is no reason not to go forward.

EASY WAYS TO STAY HEALTHY DURING YOUR TRIP:

Prevent:  Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • After coughing or sneezing.
  • Before eating.
  • After using the bathroom.

Clean hands frequently with alcohol-based gel.
Protect:

  • When coughing or sneezing cover your mouth and nose with flexed elbow
  • Use a tissue when coughing and throw it away.
  • Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose with your hands.
  • If you would like to use a mask, request went to our staff.

Inform:

  • If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early and share previous travel history with our staff on the tour.
