The Lima Airport Has A Brand-New Terminal!

Lima Airport is Peru´s International airport. Jorge Chavez International Airport has received millions of visitors over the years, who have come to Peru to explore ancient Inca wonders and on Peru Travel packages. With impressive highlights such as the world wonder Machu Picchu, hiking the iconic Inca Trail, immersing in the Amazon jungle, sailing on the highest navigable lake in the world - Lake Titicaca, and sampling some of the best cuisine on the planet! Peru is all about superlatives! The new airport terminal at Jorge Chavez has now been completed and is currently, at the time of writing, in its trial phase. The terminal has a planned 1st of June 2025, opening, and the trial phase has been in place since the 15th of May. During this trial phase, international Airlines such as Aerolíneas Argentinas, Air Europa, Wingo, Volaris, and Arajet are already operating services to the Peruvian capital! This state-of-the-art facility is set to double the airport’s capacity, from 15 to 30 million passengers each year. This will connect Lima with key cities across Latin America and Europe. This terminal reaffirms Lima’s place as one of South America’s most important airports. The new terminal is a bold statement of intent. Peru thrives on tourism, which is why the government has invested heavily in improving the country´s tourism infrastructure. Peru is now even more ready to welcome the world with open arms, modern efficiency, and renewed pride to attract even more travelers to this phenomenal destination.
