In recent years there has been a move away from camping in general in Peru. Treks have been combined with hotels or lodges along the trekking routes adding that little extra comfort on your trekking trip. However, there are now some excellent luxury camping options emerging throughout the country offering the bonus of being closer to nature, trekking with an element of luxury and an excellent post-covid option for travel, far away from the tourist crowds.
